The eighth edition of VIVANESS, the International Trade Fair for Natural Personal Care, was held from February 11-15 along with BIOFACH. This year, 192 exhibitors from 30 countries presented their products on a net space of 4,874 m², with many newcomers and niche brands, as well as pioneering manufacturers, taking part.
The top 3 exhibiting countries were Germany (63), France (41) and Italy (22). The highlights and visitor attractions included the Breeze and Novelties areas and the launch of the Meet & Talk communication platform.
One of the most compelling reasons to visit BIOFACH and VIVANESS every year is to discover inspiring new products. And accordingly, there were many revolutionary new products to be experienced, tested and discovered by trade buyers from the international cosmetics sector, which is becoming increasingly green.
The number of registrations for the VIVANESS Novelties rose from 101 (in 2013) to 191 in 2014. Eleven manufacturers from seven countries presented a historic number of brands in the special Breeze area.
Decision-makers from the retail trade (32%), manufacturing (19%), service sector (19%) and wholesale/import & export (16%) were the main visitors at this year’s VIVANESS. And more than 95% were satisfied with the products, organization and services offered at the exhibition.
The VIVANESS Forum, part of the BIOFACH and VIVANESS Congress, also attracted keen interest in 2014 with nearly 500 participants attending seven events.
