NATEXPO, the leading international biennial fair for French organic, dietary and ecologic food and products returns for the 2013 edition, to be held Sunday 20, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 October 2013 at Paris-Nord Villepinte (HQE) environmentally certified Hall 7.

Buyers will converge on this business-to-business exhibition; a unique opportunity to learn about what’s going on in the industry worldwide and for developing one’s business in France as well as abroad.

The 2011 NATEXPO attracted 540 exhibitors and 10,500 visitors from 69 countries. Thanks to its reputation as flagship exhibition for the organic and dietary foods industry, 94% of visitors said they were satisfied with the new suppliers they met at the event and 95% of suppliers thought that the exhibition was relevant and in tune with the needs of the market.

With up to 15% of exhibitors coming from abroad and France being one of the two major EU markets for organic and ecological products, NATEXPO is an excellent opportunity for making business contacts whether it’s for importing or exporting food supplements and organic products but also for cosmetics and textiles – 56% of the show is dedicated to food products.

This year around 13% of the registered exhibitors are from abroad led by: Germany, Belgium, UK, Italy, and also Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Austria, Australia, Burkina Faso, Congo, Luxemburg and Thailand. Unlike previous editions, Tuesday is replacing Saturday, following the request of most of the exhibitors and visitors. “A new feature this year for exhibitors and buyers is that they can benefit from an online business meetings scheduling system into the NATEXPO show to create their business agenda,” the organizers said.

Professional buyers for the food service sector will also receive a guide to connect with the most suitable organic suppliers. The L’atelier des chefs will feature exceptional shows with starred chefs and Meilleurs ouvriers de France. The Showcase of new products is a strategic area in the trade show where all visitors can exclusively discover new products. This year, the show has confirmed 40% of new exhibitors.”

NATEXPO 2013 is organized along 4 major themes: Organic & Good: food and organic wine; Natural Beauty: cosmetics and hygiene; Everyday ecology: environmentally friendly products – textiles for the home and people and Healthy & Balanced Diet: health foods and food supplements.

Among the new features for visitors during the 2013 edition are: the VIP service, preferential treatment for buyers from the major players in the market; the RHD (Outside Catering & Restaurants) guided tour, and the Organic Fair Trade Tour, focusing on fair trade products.
