The whole sector meets at BIOFACH 2015, the World’s leading Trade Fair for Organic Food in the Exhibition Centre, Nuremberg from 11–14 February 2015, where the world’s most important innovations in trend and niche markets are presented in one place, while the biggest organic congress in the world offers some 100 presentations and panel discussions.

At the new VEGAN World of Experience plus the Olive Oil and Wine experiences, trade buyers can gather sound practical information about the respective range of products from recognized experts, try out the products and obtain inspiration for their own business.

The BIOFACH Novelty Stand and Best New Product Awards will now include the new trend category of ‘Free From’.

The Novelty Stands at BIOFACH and VIVANESS are exactly right for anyone wanting to discover new products and creations from the organic and natural cosmetics sectors. Young, aspiring start-ups in the natural cosmetics market also present their ideas in the special Breeze area at VIVANESS.

About 2,200 exhibitors are expected at the fair from 11–14 February 2015 – including 200 at VIVANESS, the International Trade Fair for Natural Personal Care. In 2014, the exhibition duo of BIOFACH and VIVANESS attracted 42,445 trade visitors from 135 countries.

The BIOFACH and VIVANESS Congress offers some 100 presentations and panel discussions that reach more than 6,500 participants.

Building on last year’s theme, ‘Organic 3.0 – good framework for more organic’ – is the focus of this year’s congress. The presentations, workshops and panel discussions give visitors and exhibitors at BIOFACH and VIVANESS the opportunity for varied insights into currently discussed issues from a wide range of segments throughout the exhibition.

For many countries, including Germany, Denmark and the USA, 5–10% growth for the whole year is already becoming apparent again in autumn 2014. Especially encouraging is that Great Britain has registered an increase again, for the first time in four years.

The Netherlands is BIOFACH 2015 Country of the Year with a focus on organic diversity produced in the Netherlands, where approximately one billion euros in retail turnover is generated from organic food every year and export firms can offer a wide range of organic and sustainable products that can be delivered all over Europe.
