To promote tourism and investment, Peru launched a new brand in March 2011. A red and white logo, colors in the national flag, represents the country’s rich culture and biodiversity, history and ancient and recent accomplishments. The word Perú is written with an accent on the u as in the Spanish spelling of the name and a P in the shape of a spiral inspired in the Nasca lines. The spiral also means infinite or timeless. The logo may also be used with blue, green and purple background. The public and private sector are working together to increase exposure and aim to place the Peru Brand among the top five brands in the world in the next two years, an ambitious goal. Peru is a captivating country positioning itself as versatile, committed and reliable business partner with a rich cultural background and biodiversity. There is with no doubt a “Peru for everybody”!
