Europe’s biggest organic beauty trade show Vivaness is celebrating its first decade next year. Organiser Nürnberg Messe is planning a new layout and exciting programme to commemorate this special edition. A re-design of Hall 7A the Vivaness’ popular exhibition area will offer new features like the interactive “Vivaness on Stage”, some sections will highlight international and German newcomer brands, and for the first time, the annual Vivaness Congress will take place in Hall 7A as well.

Famous Dr Auma Obama, a half-sister of US President Barack Obama, will be a keynote speaker, offering a lecture on raw ingredients in the organic cosmetics industry. Born in Kenya, Auma Obama studied in Germany and received her doctorate in sociology from Bayreuth University. She is involved in some international charity associations and projects and currently works for Care International.

Vivaness 2016 is set to be bigger and better than ever. More than 200 exhibitors from 30 countries will present their products in Nuremberg, including major German manufacturers like Dr Hauschka, Lavera, Weleda and Primavera and certification agencies Ecocert, Natrue and BDIH.

In a release Danila Brunner, new BIOFACH and Vivaness director, comments: “We are especially pleased that industry pioneers such as Wala Heilmittel are going to be very well represented again. For the first time, Natrue will be presenting products in a pavilion and will be joined there by pioneers such as Laverana (Lavera), Primavera and Weleda along with other exhibitors. We are equally pleased, however, about how the participation of newcomers and niche brands such as Yverovel, Terrethic, Petit&Jolie and Velvety Manufaktur is developing.

We saw VIVANESS’s 10th birthday as a good reason to invest heavily in the event’s concept and make the international meeting place for the natural cosmetics industry, even more, attractive to all visitor target groups, from natural food specialist stores to perfumeries,” Ms Brunner said.

“Vivaness on Stage” will be in the middle of the exhibition hall featuring an on-going programme that runs throughout the day, offering exhibitor and brand presentations, interviews, makeup presentations and workshops.

Vivaness 2016 is also placing a particular focus on newcomer brands. In addition to the current Breeze exhibition for niche labels, the trade show offers a special table-top display area for new international brands. And for the first time, there will be a special pavilion for young German cosmetics brands which is sponsored by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWI).

And of course, the 2016 trade fair offers all the usual Vivaness features, like the Novelties stand with organic product innovations from the trade show’s exhibitors. The Best New Products Awards in which visitors can vote for their favourite new beauty products will also return next year.

Vivaness 2016 is taking place from 10th to 13th February 2016 concurrently with BIOFACH, the most international trade show for organic and sustainable products.
