The 6th edition of Natural Products Scandinavia and the Nordic Food Fair are returning to MalmöMässan in the fairtrade city of Malmo, Sweden 15-16 of November. Over 400 exhibitors will greet around 5500 trade visitors and present their latest natural and organic foods, supplements, cosmetics and other goods developed under the principles of sustainability.

International pavilions joining the Scandinavian firms under the KRAV (Sweden) and Organic Denmark umbrellas include Austria, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.  Individual international exhibitors include Andean Valley from Bolivia, NOW Foods from the US and UHTCO Corp from Canada.

This year the show organizers received a record 155 entries competing for the ‘Best new product’ awards across 11 categories, Best New Organic Food Product, Best New Eco/Natural Living Product, Best New Health & Nutrition Product and Best New Natural Skincare Product (face & body) are among them.

Visiting buyers and retailers will get their chance to decide on the winners by casting their vote at the Natural & Organic Awards Showcase on the show’s opening day (Wednesday 15 November), with the award winners to be announced at 5 pm in the Organic Theatre.

This initiative is one of the most exciting features at the fair and has become a must-see event in the circuit of international industry events.

The conference and education program includes industry leaders and speakers such as Marije Vogelzang, an ‘eating designer’ from The Netherlands, Peter Åsberg, CEO of leading Swedish self-care brand, and Svensk Egenvård, Midsona and the chairman of the Swedish Industry Association for self-care. The Natural Organic Cosmetics Association Sweden (NOC Sweden) will explain how its annual Organic Beauty Awards series offers a valuable ‘quality seal’ for Swedish consumers of natural and organic beauty products and is helping drive further growth in the category. NOC Sweden is a non-profit organization with around 40 members representing 60 brands, founded in 2014 to increase growth and the share of the NOC Category in Sweden.

Natural Products Scandinavia is produced by Diversified Communications, which also organizes Natural & Organic Products Europe in the UK, Natural Products Asia in Hong Kong, Fine Food Australia and the recently acquired Naturally Good Expo, also in Australia.
